      WORKING AT MUSICAL THEATERS

Peter Guth was musical director of the first Vienna Operetta Festival in Japan in 1992, which was presented by Vienna's operetta and musical star Dagmar Koller.

He conducted new productions of Johann Strauss' operettas: "The Gypsy Baron" at the Opéra National de Montpellier and at the Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen "A Night in Venice".
In his cycle of operettas at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid with the Orchestra and Choir of RTVE and international soloists, he staged his own semi-concert adaptations for television:
"The Merry Widow" by Franz Lehár and by Johann Strauss "Die Fledermaus" and "The Gypsy Baron".
